Autograph letter from Peter Patton, London, to Mrs. Garrick [manuscript], 1802 August 27.

He has lately arrived from Gilbraltar and wanted to pay his respects to Mrs. Garrick, but not finding her home, returned to pay his Devoirs this day. He is now setting out for Lichfield, where his father and mother will be anxious to hear that he visited her. He shall be able to say that she is in good health, as he learned at her house in town, but that she is still in the country.
